I fell in love with Waldorf dolls about a year ago when my daughter ask me to make one for my grand daughter. I actually was making other dolls like primitives and Dinky Babies. I love the Waldorf face but the body just did not inspire me. So I went about finding different body types. I saw jointed bodies, plain bodies and some with no actual body at all, just a stuffed bunting style body. So after trying different bodies that didn't feel right for me I decided to create my own using different bodies from other dolls. And Baby Dorf was born. She has a soft sculptured body.
With defined fingers and toes.
A belly button.
I gave her real wool hair just like the traditional Waldorf dolls.
I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. You can find her on my Esty site.
